What are the reasons behind China and Russia's reluctance to integrate into the global economy?

China and Russia are well integrated into the global economy other than the sanctions that western countries are placing against them. China, especially, has the BRI projects implemented across the world, facilitating trade among all countries that are part of the BRI.
The country that does not want to inegrate into the global economy is the US with all its sanctions are tariffs. They also have the most number of cases pending against them at the WTO.
